Who’s Next?

Everything in the writing world, rather like construction projects, seems to take much longer than planned. I’d intended to get back to the TSI series months ago, but I got sidetracked writing a fantasy novel, and to be honest, I’ve also been caught up in our new nomadic life. Learning to be creative and productive with a schedule that changes every week, and trying to find balance between work and play when there is just so much to see, has been a bit of a challenge. But, I’m getting the hang of it, and I’m happy to report, I started writing the next book in my romantic suspense series last week.

Hopefully, you’ve read the first four books and fallen in love with Jake and Fiona, Mike and Lucia, Cam and Lissa, and Teag and Maria. So, who’s story is next? From the earlier books, you’ll probably remember A.J., Cam’s best friend and business partner. A.J. was the first family man of the bunch, marrying his high school sweetheart and starting a family years before everyone else. If you’ve been paying attention, you may also remember that A.J.’s wife was sick, and when we last left them, her cancer had returned. So, yes, this is A.J.’s story, and yes it’s a heartbreaker, but as with all romances, a happily ever after will eventually prevail.

For those of you who’ve been waiting, thank you for your patience. I know when I find a series I love, I am not very patient. Often, I won’t even start reading the series if it isn’t complete already, but I know that Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither is a book series! I promise to keep you updated on my progress, and I look forward to sharing A.J.’s story with you soon!
